Russian, Chinese and Belarusian brands take 95% of Russia's new car market in H1 2026

Cars assembled in Russia, China and Belarus accounted for about 95% of Russia's new passenger vehicle sales in the first half of 2026, according to Autostat. Total sales reached 608,600 units, with Russian plants supplying the largest share. By brand origin, the same three countries hold roughly 86% of the market.

Mexico eyes US ethanol market after regaining sugar export quota

Israel approves 400-ton discounted honey import quota for holiday season

Israel's Agriculture Ministry has cleared a 400-ton quota of discounted honey to hold down retail prices during the holidays. Under the quota, honey will sell for between 14.7 and 18.9 shekels per weighted kilogram at major chains including Rami Levy, Carrefour, Yohananof and Hetzi Hinam.
