In 2019, triticale production in MENA reached its peak at 31,062 tonnes, marking a significant 60.6% increase from the previous year. However, production dropped to 26,269 tonnes in 2020, representing a 15.4% decline year-over-year. Looking at the broader period from 2017 to 2020, production grew by 21.4%, with an average annual growth rate of 6.7%. The lowest production level during this timeframe was recorded in 2018 at 19,340 tonnes.
