The roasted coffee market volume in North Macedonia fluctuated between 5 676 tons in 2018 and 5 957 tons in 2024. After a rise to 6 007 tons in 2019, consumption dropped to 5 506 tons in 2020 before reaching a peak of 6 323 tons in 2021. The following years saw a gradual decline, with volumes stabilizing around 6 100 tons in 2022-2023 and falling to 5 957 tons in 2024.

In value terms, the market displayed a stronger upward trend. Starting at $31.8 million in 2018, market value dipped to $29.4 million in 2020, then rebounded to $34.6 million in 2021. Despite minor fluctuations, value grew substantially to $39.3 million in 2023 and reached $44.1 million in 2024, indicating rising prices or a shift toward higher-value products.

Domestic production of roasted coffee remained between 4 000 and 4 400 tons throughout the period, while imports grew from 1 651 tons in 2018 to 2 398 tons in 2024, making imports an increasingly important part of supply. Exports stayed modest, ranging from 305 to 389 tons annually.
