After two years of decline, the value of orange production in the Caribbean increased. In 2020, output was valued at 222.1 million US dollars, representing a 2.0% gain compared to 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, production value decreased by 9.7%, with a compound annual growth rate of -3.3%. Caribbean orange export volumes declined for the second consecutive year. In 2020, exports reached 2 872 tons, showing a sharp decrease of 23.8% from the previous year. From 2017 to 2020, exports fell by 18.3%, with a compound annual growth rate of -6.5%. The highest volume was recorded in 2018 at 3 980 tons, which also experienced the largest increase of 13.2%.
