The volume of the triticale market in Cyprus experienced significant fluctuations between 2018 and 2023. After starting at 2 532 tons in 2018, it dropped sharply to 1 731 tons in 2019, then recovered over the next two years to reach a peak of 2 505 tons in 2021.

From this high point, the market contracted in both 2022 and 2023, falling to 2 228 tons and then to 1 995 tons respectively. These movements were driven by corresponding changes in domestic production and import volumes.
