Jamaica's production of poultry meat and offal fluctuated between 2018 and 2023, rising from 264.7 thousand tonnes to a peak of 279.7 thousand tonnes in 2022 after a dip to 247.3 thousand tonnes in 2020. The total market volume followed a similar pattern, declining to 267.6 thousand tonnes in 2021 due to a sharp drop in imports, before recovering to 294.4 thousand tonnes in 2023.

Import volumes fell significantly from 28.3 thousand tonnes in 2019 to 15.7 thousand tonnes in 2022, then rebounded to 20.5 thousand tonnes in 2023. Exports remained modest throughout the period. In 2023, exports to Barbados were valued at US$2.12 million, and poultry meat accounted for 22% of Jamaica's total meat imports, underscoring its role in the country's meat supply.

In 2024, imports decreased to 18.7 thousand tonnes while exports increased to 2.3 thousand tonnes.
