Jordan's production of mushrooms and truffles has grown for the third year in a row. In 2019, the country produced 947.4 tonnes, which increased to 965.2 tonnes in 2020 - a modest gain of 1.9%. Looking at the entire 2017-2020 period, production rose by 5.7%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.9%.

After declining for two years, Jordan's mushroom and truffle imports rebounded in value terms. The low point was in 2019 at 369 000 US dollars, which then rose to 555 000 US dollars in 2020 - an increase of 50.4%. Over the full 2017-2020 period, however, imports fell by 57.6%, representing an average annual decline of 24.9%. The most significant drop occurred in 2019 with a 50.9% decrease.
