Earlier Report Observations

The Omani melon market showed considerable movement between 2018 and 2023. After a stable period around 40 000 t, the market volume surged dramatically to 65 520 t in 2020. This peak represented a growth of over 25 000 t compared to the previous year.

The subsequent period saw a consistent contraction, with the market volume falling to 56 545 t in 2021 and further to 48 083 t in 2022.
