Market volume increased to 3 670 t in 2021, driven by a phytosanitary capacity-building project that enhanced export prospects and a national household survey that informed supportive policies. Although volume dipped slightly to 3 662 t in 2022, the launch of a mangrove honey production project and training on sustainable pesticide management began strengthening the production base for future growth.
