After growing from 37 972 kg to 43 367 kg in 2019, the market contracted to 35 717 kg in 2020 before recovering to over 42 000 kg in the following years, peaking at 43 761 kg in 2022 and stabilizing at 43 352 kg in 2023.

These movements were primarily driven by changes in import volumes, which ranged from a low of 6 327 kg in 2020 to a high of 14 091 kg in 2022. Domestic production, in contrast, showed gradual growth from 29 220 kg to 29 780 kg over the same period.

Imports rose sharply to 26 052 kg in 2024.
