This growth was driven by the strong performance of major players like Solibra, which had previously recorded double-digit growth, and the entry of companies such as IVORIO that launched new packaging for natural juices while sourcing from local fruit producers.

After a slight contraction to 21.5 million liters in 2022, the market recovered to 22.8 million liters in 2023. During this period, the government's development plan aimed at boosting local fruit processing into juices, including the establishment of new production facilities. However, climate change began affecting fruit quality, posing challenges for natural juice producers and encouraging diversification into jams and dried fruits.

By 2024, the sector showed further structuring with the registration of regional juice brands and continued industrial development focused on quality and local sourcing.

In 2020, the output was valued at 12 817 thousand US dollars, showing a sharp year-over-year rise of 32.2%. Between 2017 and 2020, production grew by 40.2%, with an annualized rate of 11.9%. The lowest value was recorded in 2018 at 8 975 thousand US dollars, which also saw the largest decline of 1.8% during this period.

The lowest volume was in 2019 at 1 701 thousand liters, which also experienced the steepest drop of 28.8%.

From 2017 to 2020, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Senegal were the primary destinations for Côte d'Ivoire's fruit and vegetable juice exports in volume terms. Mali accounted for 53.2% of exports, Burkina Faso for 19.4%, and Senegal for 10.6%, together making up 83.2% of total export flows.
