These measures helped standardize production and bolster consumer confidence, supporting market recovery and subsequent growth.

Despite ongoing challenges in raw material availability due to reduced imports of fish and aquatic invertebrates, as well as international trade sanctions from 2022, the market continued to grow. Innovation in product development, including new segments for healthy eating, allowed producers to adapt and meet the rising demand for natural and eco-friendly products.

After two consecutive years of growth, Belarus's production of extracts and juices from meat, fish, and aquatic invertebrates declined in 2020. That year, output totaled 550.4 t, marking a significant decrease of 11.9% compared to the previous year. Over the 2017–2020 period, production overall increased by 29.9%, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.1%. The highest production level was recorded in 2019 at 624.9 t, which also saw the largest annual increase of 24.4%.

Imports hit their lowest point in 2019 at 3 900 US dollars and peaked in 2018 at 11 900 US dollars, with a 3.1-fold difference between these years. In 2020, imports increased to 4 600 US dollars, up 17.9% compared to 2019. The largest decline was recorded in 2019 at 67.2%, while the largest increase occurred in 2018, rising by 133.3%.
