The market for fresh or chilled edible brassicas in Montenegro experienced significant volatility between 2018 and 2023. The total market volume fell from 14 352 tonnes in 2018 to a low of 10 641 tonnes in 2019, before showing an uneven recovery trajectory over the following years.

A partial rebound in 2020 was followed by another decline in 2021. The market then staged a strong recovery in 2022, with volume reaching 13 503 tonnes, driven primarily by a substantial increase in domestic production that year.
