Austria's production of edible brassicas has increased for the second year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 69 800 tonnes, marking a 6.1% rise compared to the previous year. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production grew by 3.1%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.0%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 58 110 tonnes, which also saw the largest decline of 14.1%. In contrast, 2019 experienced the most significant increase of 13.2%.

Exports in kind, t

Austria's exports of edible brassicas have declined for the second consecutive year. In 2020, the country exported 3 851 tonnes, showing a slight decrease of 1.5% year-on-year. From 2017 to 2020, exports fell by 14.7%, which translates to an average annual decline of 5.2%. The highest export volume was in 2018 at 5 605 tonnes, when exports surged by 24.1%.
