Between 2018 and 2024, the physical volume of the decaffeinated or roasted coffee market in Croatia showed a moderate decline from 15 238 t to 14 312 t. The market reached its lowest point in 2020 at 13 766 t before recovering in the following years, indicating a period of adjustment in domestic consumption patterns.

Despite the relatively stable volume, the market's value grew significantly from 131.8 million US dollars to 178.6 million US dollars over the same period. This rise in value was accompanied by a steady increase in import value from 39.8 million US dollars to 72.4 million US dollars, suggesting a shift toward higher-priced products or general price inflation within the sector.

Domestic production volume contracted from 12 937 t to 9 421 t, while import volume expanded from 5 242 t to 7 315 t. This shift highlights a growing reliance on imported coffee, as exports also decreased from 2 941 t to 2 424 t, making more product available for the local market.
