By 2024, new regulatory measures came into effect, including the EU's PPWR packaging regulation and Polish rules requiring permanently attached caps on bottles, which increased operational demands on producers. Market volume in 2024 showed stabilization at 141.9 thousand tons, though value further declined to 458.8 million US dollars.
