Exports beer from Russia

After two years of growth, Russia's beer exports declined in 2020. The country exported 312.6 million liters of beer that year, reflecting a significant drop of 18.4% from the previous year. From 2017 to 2020, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine formed the core of Russia's beer exports in volume terms. Belarus accounted for 21.6% of exports, while Kazakhstan and Ukraine each contributed 19.5%. Together, these three countries made up 60.6% of total export flows.

Russia's beer exports in value terms declined for the second consecutive year in 2020, reaching 138.8 million US dollars, which represents a solid decrease of 11.5% compared to the prior year. Over the 2017-2020 period, exports increased by 2.1%, with an average annual growth rate of 0.7%. The highest value was recorded in 2018 at 157.2 million US dollars, when exports experienced their largest increase of 15.6%.
