After declining for two years, Turkey's beef, sheep, or goat fat imports rebounded. In 2020, imports amounted to 12 366 tonnes, reflecting a strong 13.6% year-on-year increase. However, over the 2017–2020 period, imports decreased by 31.5%, equivalent to an annualized decline of 11.9%. The lowest volume was recorded in 2019 at 10 883 tonnes, which also saw the largest drop of 35.6%.
