Apricot production in Pakistan increased after a two-year decline. In 2020, the country produced 124.2 thousand tons of apricots, marking a 31.5% rise from the previous year. However, over the entire 2017–2020 period, production fell by 12.4%, averaging an annual decrease of 4.3%. The lowest output was recorded in 2019 at 94.4 thousand tons, while the sharpest drop occurred in 2018 with a 23.8% decline.

The export market for apricots from Pakistan showed volatility during the observed period.
