From 2022 onward, the market experienced a slight downward trend, with volumes easing to 542.2 million liters in 2022 and 536.8 million liters in 2023. This moderation was primarily driven by rising production costs that led to higher retail prices, dampening consumption. Concurrently, the market continued to shift toward premium, craft, and local beer segments, which changed the sales mix without reversing the overall volume decline.
