Following a two-year decline, yoghurt production in Northern Europe rebounded in 2020. The region produced 355.5 K t of yoghurt that year, marking a modest 4.1% increase from 2019. Production had reached its lowest point in 2019 at 341.5 K t, which also saw the largest decline of 3.6%.

Yoghurt exports from Northern Europe grew for the second consecutive year in 2020, reaching 86.8 K t, a 16.1% increase from the previous year. The lowest volume was recorded in 2018 at 61.8 K t, which also experienced the largest decline of 24.0%. In contrast, the largest increase of 20.9% occurred in 2019.
