The market rebounded by 12% to 55.5 thousand tons in 2023, driven by a significant drop in exports and the entry of Empresas Polar into the coffee market, which expanded domestic brand distribution. New regulations for producer associations and ongoing state policies to control prices and eliminate intermediaries further shaped the sector's operations during this period.

The maximum export volume was recorded in 2018 at 4 274 tonnes, which also experienced the largest increase of 375.6%.
