Looking at the period from 2018 to 2021, exports rose by 26.2%, with an average annual growth rate of 8.1%. The lowest export volume was recorded in 2019 at 13 100 tons. That year also saw the largest decline of 5.2%, while the biggest increase occurred in 2020 with an 18.2% rise.

From 2018 to 2021, the key destinations for Bosnia and Herzegovina's exports of sweet biscuits, waffles, and wafers in volume terms were Croatia, Serbia, and North Macedonia. Croatia accounted for 40.6% of exports, Serbia for 22.9%, and North Macedonia for 7.5%. Together, these three countries represented 70.9% of the total export flows.
