A strong recovery followed in 2022, with the market volume surging by over 24% to 401.5 thousand tons. This growth was supported by the inauguration of a new sorghum processing facility in northern Ghana in October 2022, which increased local demand for raw sorghum. The upward momentum continued into 2023, with the market reaching 413.1 thousand tons.
