Asia's shelled almond production increased for the third consecutive year. In 2020, the region produced 236.7 thousand tons of shelled almonds, marking a 7.2% increase from 2019. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production grew by 60.3%, with an average annual growth rate of 17.0%.

Asia's shelled almond production value rose for the second consecutive year. In 2020, the output was valued at 11,403 million US dollars, up 36.6% from 2019.
