Post-pandemic, the market recovered to 4.5 thousand tons in 2021 as breweries invested in technologies for non-alcoholic and specialty beers. Growth continued to 5.5 thousand tons in 2022 despite rising raw material and energy costs due to the war in Ukraine, as new beer brand entries and sustained craft beer trends supported demand. The market volume further increased to 6.0 thousand tons in 2023.

In 2024, the roasted malt market in Czechia contracted to 4.5 thousand tons, reflecting a notable decrease from the previous year's peak.
