In 2023, market volume reached a peak of 54 256 t, marking a steady increase from the previous year and resulting in an overall expansion of over 20% across the six-year period.

In 2020, the country produced 33 214 tonnes, marking a 3.8% increase from the previous year. Looking at the period from 2017 to 2020, overall production decreased by 4.3%, which translates to an average annual decline of 1.4%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2019 at 32 000 tonnes, while the sharpest drop occurred in 2018 with a 6.6% decrease.
