The quince market in Brazil saw gradual growth from 530 t in 2018 to 584 t in 2020. Production increased modestly during this period, supported by a rise in imports to 38 t in 2019. The market remained highly concentrated in a few municipalities in Minas Gerais and Goiás, with most output destined for industrial processing into jams.
