By 2023, the market corrected to 116.5 thousand tons as imports normalized to 19.1 thousand tons. Into 2024, trade activity continued with imports of 15.1 thousand tons and exports of 3.6 thousand tons, against a backdrop of evolving consumer preferences towards healthier and organic poultry options.
