After a temporary dip to 5.8 million liters in 2021, the market volume rebounded strongly, reaching 7.7 million liters in 2023. This recovery was fueled by growing consumer preference for healthier options, such as organic and low-sugar juices, which encouraged production and marketing efforts.

From 2018 to 2021, Honduras and Guatemala were the dominant destinations for El Salvador's pineapple juice exports in volume terms, together accounting for 96.2% of total exports, while other countries held much smaller shares.
