Looking at the period from 2017 to 2020, production rose by 5.9%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.9%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 4,039 thousand cubic meters. That year also saw the largest decline of 3.6%, while the biggest increase occurred in 2019 with a 4.9% rise.

In 2020, the value of particle board production in Western Asia reached 856.0 million US dollars, up 6.4% from 2019. From 2017 to 2020, production value increased by 4.5%, translating to an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. The peak was reached in 2019 at 923 thousand cubic meters, while the largest increase occurred in 2018 with a 23.6% jump.
