Guyana's orange market showed a clear upward trajectory between 2018 and 2023, with total volume climbing by nearly 4 000 t over the six-year span. The period began with consecutive annual gains, as production increased from 21 734 t in 2018 to 23 823 t by 2021. Since imports and exports played almost no role, market size mirrored domestic output closely.

The trend paused in 2022 when production slipped by about 400 t, pulling market volume down slightly to 23 423 t. However, the following year brought a sharp recovery, with output surging to 25 528 t and market size reaching 25 537 t in 2023. This rebound not only erased the previous year's decline but also established a new peak for orange availability in the country.
