Orange production in Dominica declined for the second consecutive year. In 2020, the country produced 4 851 tonnes of oranges, representing a slight drop of 0.7% compared to 2019. Looking at the period from 2017 to 2020, production increased by 2.8%, which translates to an annualized growth rate of 0.9%. The highest production level was recorded in 2018 at 4 952 tonnes. That year also saw the largest increase of 5.0%. In contrast, 2019 experienced the most significant decline, with production falling by 1.4%.
