Poland's production of non-coniferous wood fuel has declined for the second year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 2,416 thousand cubic meters, marking a 5.8% decrease from the previous year. Looking at the period from 2017 to 2020, production fell by 8.5%, with an average annual decline of 2.9%. The highest production level was recorded in 2018 at 2,673 thousand cubic meters, which also saw the largest annual increase of 1.2%.

Poland's exports of non-coniferous wood fuel have dropped for the second consecutive year. In 2020, exports stood at 15.7 thousand cubic meters, representing a sharp decline of 63.4% compared to 2019.
