In 2021, the country produced 1 542 thousand cubic meters, marking an 18.2% rise compared to the previous year. Looking at the period from 2018 to 2021, production grew by 4.5%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2019 at 1 273 thousand cubic meters, which also saw the largest decline of 13.8%.

Following a two-year decline, Czechia's exports of non-coniferous roundwood have rebounded. In 2021, the country exported 399.7 thousand cubic meters, showing a significant increase of 52.8% from 2020. Over the 2018-2021 period, exports decreased by 32%, translating to an average annual decline of 12.1%. The lowest export volume was in 2020 at 261.5 thousand cubic meters, while the largest drop occurred in 2019 with a 49.1% decrease.

From 2018 to 2021, Austria and Slovakia were the primary buyers of non-coniferous roundwood from Czechia, together accounting for 80.9% of total exports in volume. Other destinations each held relatively small shares during this period.
