The highest production level was recorded in 2018 at 2 035 K t, which also saw the largest annual increase of 3.3%.

Bangladesh accounted for 18.4% of exports in kind, Malaysia for 9.3%, and Turkey for 8.3%, together making up 36.0% of total exports.
