Earlier Report Observations

Between 2018 and 2022, the domestic market for fresh lettuce and chicory in Egypt contracted from 69 137 t to 57 883 t, a 16% decline. The lowest point was in 2021, when consumption fell to 58 311 t. The market then stabilized in 2022 with only a marginal decrease.
