Earlier Report Observations

From 2018 to 2023, the Armenian honey market volume experienced moderate fluctuations, staying within a range of 2 100 to 2 250 tons. The market expanded gradually to a high of 2 244 tons in 2022, then declined by 6.6% to 2 096 tons in the following year.

Domestic production provided a stable base, outputting approximately 2 200 tons annually, with only slight reductions to 2 100 tons in 2020 and 2023. This consistency in production helped maintain overall market volume despite changes in trade flows.

Armenia's honey imports rose dramatically from 21 tons in 2018 to over 100 tons in 2022-2023, before falling to 56 tons in 2024. Exports showed greater volatility, ranging from 17 tons in 2019 to 108 tons in 2023, and settling at 80 tons in 2024.
