Production fell sharply to 10 160 tonnes in 2019, and market volume dropped to 12 832 tonnes. A partial recovery occurred over 2020 and 2021, with volumes stabilizing around 13 000–16 000 tonnes, still significantly below the 2018 peak.

From 2022, legislative changes including the establishment of the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration introduced stricter food production controls. In 2023, government bills aimed at supporting active farmers, including winegrowers, were proposed. By 2024, challenging weather conditions with high humidity and late frosts impacted grape maturation, emphasizing the sector's focus on quality for protected appellations like 'Moselle Luxembourgeoise'.
