Georgia's grape market volume demonstrated a clear growth phase from 2018 to 2020, rising from 262 thousand tons to a peak of 319 thousand tons. This expansion was primarily supported by increasing domestic production over the same years.

Following the 2020 peak, the market volume contracted significantly to 274 thousand tons in 2021. A temporary recovery to 290 thousand tons occurred in 2022, but a further decline brought the market to 225 thousand tons by 2023, below its initial level.

The overall period from 2018 to 2023 was marked by notable volatility, with the market ending substantially lower than its highest point, reflecting a net decrease in volume over the six-year span.

In 2018, exports peaked at 1 127 tons, but then dropped sharply to a low of 98 tons in 2019, representing an 11.5-fold difference between these years.
