After peaking in 2020, market volume declined in the following years, falling to 3.2 million liters by 2023. The drop in 2021 coincided with the suspension of the key industry Expo Mariano Roque Alonso due to the pandemic, which limited product promotion. In 2022-2023, the introduction of new front-of-pack labeling rules, including mandatory 'high in' warnings for sugar, along with rising juice exports, affected domestic consumption.

By 2023, the market stabilized in value terms at $6.7 million USD despite the volume decrease, reflecting shifts in product mix and pricing. Regulatory measures such as labeling laws and quality controls continued to shape the market environment in subsequent years.
