The highest production volume was recorded in 2018 at 140.7 thousand tons, which also saw the largest annual increase of 40.2%.

It reached its peak in 2018 and hit its lowest point in 2017, with a 1.7-fold difference between these years. Between 2017 and 2020, the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany were the main destinations for Swiss fresh grape exports in terms of volume. The Netherlands accounted for 60.3% of exports, Spain for 13.1%, and Germany for 11.6%, together making up 84.9% of total exports.
