After a contraction to 107.3 thousand tons in 2021, the market recovered, reaching 118.7 thousand tons in 2023. During this period, the global dried fig sector experienced supply chain and transport disruptions in 2022, which affected logistics and distribution, yet Algeria's overall production volume continued its upward trajectory.
