Nigeria's feldspar production continued its downward trend for the second year in a row. In 2019, production stood at 33,700 tonnes, but by 2020 it had dropped sharply to 19,453 tonnes—a decline of 42.3%. Looking at the broader period from 2017 to 2020, production fell by 29.7%, with an average annual decrease of 11.1%. The peak was reached in 2018 at 41,355 tonnes, which represented a significant increase of 49.5% from the previous year.
