Feldspar production in Western Africa fell for the second year in a row. In 2020, the region produced 19 453 tons, which represents a sharp 42.3% drop compared to the previous year. Looking at the period from 2017 to 2020, production decreased by 29.7%, with an average annual decline of 11.1%. The highest production level was recorded in 2018 at 41 355 tons, which also saw the largest increase of 49.5%.
