In value terms, the market told a different story, growing from $52.2 million in 2018 to $66.8 million in 2022 before decreasing to $59.1 million in 2024. This suggests changes in product mix or average prices despite the falling physical consumption.

By 2024, the market saw the continued publication of digital PDF exercise books designed for cognitive stimulation in older adults, indicating a diversification of the product range towards digital formats and new demographic segments.

The peak export volume was recorded in 2019 at 3 889 t, and the largest annual increase also occurred in 2019 with a rise of 39.1%.
