This was followed by a recovery to 538.5 t in 2021, though still below the 2019 high.

In the subsequent years, the market stabilized at a lower level. It dipped to 490.2 t in 2022 before rising slightly to 520.4 t in 2023. Overall, the market volume in 2023 remained about 17% below the peak observed in 2019.
