Myanmar's coconut production declined for the second year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 1 252 thousand tonnes of coconuts, marking a 1.9% decrease from the previous year. Over the 2017-2020 period, production grew by 2.2%, which translates to an average annual increase of 0.7%. The highest output was recorded in 2018 at 1 414 thousand tonnes, with the largest annual increase of 15.4% that same year.
