Amendments to the Tax Code in 2021 and 2022, which regulated the sale of agricultural products and introduced temporary tax regimes, facilitated easier market access for producers and supported continued output growth. Concurrent state anti-inflation measures and enhanced market supervision aimed at curbing price manipulation helped maintain stable consumer demand, allowing the total market volume to rise consistently through 2022.

By 2023, domestic production had increased to 136.6 thousand tons, driving the overall market size to 181.5 thousand tons. Import volumes showed variability in the subsequent period, while exports, though still modest, established a sustained presence compared to earlier years when they were negligible.
