This downward trend was interrupted in 2022 when the market rebounded to 67 935 tons, a 14% increase from the previous year's low. The recovery proved temporary, however, as volume fell again to 61 125 tons in 2023, bringing the overall market size 20% lower than its 2018 level by the end of the period.
